Chief Technology Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Act as the principal architect for the technical and AI strategy.

• Guide and mentor a unified team of top-tier, vetted professionals.

• Oversee the integration and expansion of essential AI/ML initiatives.

• Manage and enhance the budget for engineering and AI research.

• Establish and uphold stringent IT and compliance standards.

• Collaborate directly with executive leadership in Marketing, Operations, and Business Development.

• Implement well-documented feedback loops and “Shadow Pipelines.”

• Serve as the stabilizing force during periods of technical transition.

• Design systems and strategies for a globally dispersed engineering network.

• Lead the organization’s shift towards an AI-centric product ecosystem.

• Balance ambitious technical innovation with the security and compliance needs of a growing global enterprise.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of progressive engineering experience, including at least 5 years in roles such as CTO, VP of Engineering, or a comparable senior technical executive position at a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company.

• Proven track record of successfully integrating and scaling AI/ML products (e.g., LLMs, agents, predictive models) within production environments.

• Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and develop top technical talent.

• Proficient in guiding strategic decisions related to build-vs-buy and platform choices.

• Experience in managing engineering and AI/research budgets, demonstrating measurable ROI.

• Expertise in establishing IT, security, and compliance frameworks, including data privacy, IAM protocols, and technical risk mitigation.

• Skilled in implementing documented feedback loops, succession planning (“Shadow Pipelines”), and zero-downtime delivery practices.

• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Operations, Business Development, and the executive team.

• Exceptional communication and influencing abilities with both technical and business stakeholders.
