This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee the next stage of PWI’s commercial expansion in the United States.
• Enhance distributor performance and accelerate growth in both national and regional accounts.
• Develop a high-achieving sales organization that aligns with Gruppo Mezzacorona’s strategic goals.
• Formulate and implement strategies and tactics that drive business growth.
• Recruit, train, develop, and motivate the sales team.
• Improve distributor effectiveness.
• Execute new distribution and promotional initiatives within the established National Account framework.
• Leverage cross-functional resources (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) effectively.
• Optimize promotional budgets and brand investments.
• Work closely with the International Sales Director to align and communicate supplier priorities, distributor execution, and market opportunities.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in sales leadership within the beverage alcohol sector.
• Must be located near a major airport hub.
• Willingness to travel 25-40% of the time.
• Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) demonstrated through empathy and the ability to build team trust and optimism.
• Knowledge of premium and imported wine portfolios is preferred.
