This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the entire revenue P&L encompassing new business, expansion, and retention, while setting targets and providing results directly to the CEO and board.
• Develop and oversee a unified go-to-market organization that integrates Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, transitioning from the current siloed approach to a cohesive revenue-focused structure.
• Transform Customer Success into a genuine revenue-generating function, establishing clear targets for renewals and upgrades, and ensuring close collaboration with Support and Training to address at-risk accounts proactively before renewals.
• Revamp and expand the new-business pipeline, focusing on processes, distinguishing between new districts and growth within existing ones, and implementing disciplined forecasting.
• Articulate a sustainable competitive advantage against low-cost, bundled incumbent vendors, collaborating with Product and Marketing to enhance differentiation and protect premium value.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain leadership talent across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, while appropriately sizing the organization as the team grows.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure customer feedback, renewal-risk indicators, and competitive gaps directly influence the product roadmap.
• Create a unified set of shared metrics and a single source of truth for pipeline, retention, and expansion throughout the go-to-market organization.
• 5+ years of experience as a revenue or go-to-market leader (CRO, VP Sales, VP Revenue, Head of GTM, or similar) within the U.S. K-12 EdTech sector.
• Proven history of managing new business, expansion, and retention targets, ideally having experience across sales, marketing, and customer success at various points in your career.
• Direct experience in selling to and renewing contracts with U.S. school districts, including knowledge of academic-year buying cycles, RFP/procurement processes, and the K-12 budget calendar.
• Experience in constructing or scaling a cohesive revenue organization, encompassing organizational design, compensation planning, and cadence for forecasting and reporting.
• A successful track record of competing against low-cost, bundled incumbents while maintaining a premium, outcomes-focused positioning.
