This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Act as a vital member of the Medicaid Care Management leadership team.
• Lead or engage in cross-functional, cross-business, or enterprise initiatives.
• Informally guide Senior Leaders in achieving goals and delivering results.
• Produce high-quality communications, presentations, and reports for senior management.
• Oversee and present a monthly overview of regulatory audits and compliance matters.
• Organize meetings and facilitate the coordination of colleague experience programs.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Director or Senior Director capacity, responsible for decisions with significant impact on the department or organization.
• More than 10 years of experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the quality and professionalism expected of senior and executive leaders.
• Proven capability to lead planning initiatives that foster business goals, organizational design, and successful execution of corporate projects and initiatives.
• Experience working within complex operational structures to ensure timely completion of goal scorecards each quarter.
• Ability to informally guide Senior Leaders in achieving goals and delivering results, while ensuring that any shortcomings have a clear mitigation plan.
• Proven experience working with intricate reporting systems and structures, representing the team and its leadership by providing high-quality, timely reports to senior management.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment, partnering with HR to facilitate talent review sessions, regularly report on talent mobility, and ensure alignment with the talent goals of Aetna Clinical Services.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality communications, presentations, responses, and analyses of various requests by working efficiently, independently, and with minimal supervision.
• Exemplified ability to model professional behaviors that reflect the values of a VP, demonstrating a strong commitment to inclusion, collaboration, trust-building, result-driven actions, and support for innovation and change.
• Proven skills in developing and deploying communications and presentations from the VP to the organization, department, and executive leadership, adhering to high professional standards.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and provide a consolidated monthly overview of open regulatory audits, internal audits, significant regulatory inquiries, and remediation/mitigation plans for identified compliance issues.
• Proven skills in leading the senior team through annual goal and operations planning, continuous monitoring, and reporting, including budget management, staffing requirements, contract obligations, and various operational activity requests from Corporate.
• Must possess the ability to lead meetings with preparation, professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the capability to articulate the vision of the information being presented and its significance to meeting participants.
• Facilitate monthly staff meetings, Senior Leader meetings, town halls, and other requested meetings by setting agendas, coordinating materials and speakers, ensuring presentations are ready, leading sessions, and following up on action items.
• Coordinate Colleague Experience programs, which will encompass colleague survey action planning, alignment with Aetna Clinical Services Culture Initiatives, HR Change Ambassador initiatives, and our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.
• May lead a team of project management professionals.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with QuickBase development/building beyond just end-user experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting information to diverse audiences at the appropriate level.
