This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Act as a representative for the CEO, COO, and CFO on projects and initiatives that require senior leadership but do not necessitate their direct involvement.
• Ensure follow-through on executive team decisions by transforming agreements made in meetings into actionable next steps, assigning ownership, and setting deadlines - while ensuring completion.
• Manage special projects from start to finish: facilitate strategic reviews and prepare comprehensive analyses ahead of board meetings.
• Create and refine materials that present Primer to strategic stakeholders: including board presentations, company town halls, and internal newsletters.
• Operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and commercial teams when collaboration is needed - ensuring effective coordination so that the CTO and functional leaders can concentrate on their core tasks.
• Oversee the business cadence: organizing weekly leadership syncs, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning sessions, and board preparations.
• Collaborate with the COO to enhance the setting, tracking, and accountability of OKRs across the leadership team.
• Partner with functional leads and AI enablers to monitor and facilitate AI adoption throughout the organization, analyzing what is effective and what is not, and assisting in the integration of appropriate tools and workflows into daily operations.
• Proactively identify and address cross-functional gaps before they escalate into issues, irrespective of which executive team is responsible.
• Ensure the entire executive team remains well-informed about internal company developments, including signals that may not be immediately apparent.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in a high-performance setting: such as strategy consulting, investment banking, or a rapidly evolving tech company.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills: clear, direct, and precise without unnecessary detail.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and create structure in unstructured environments.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of simplifying complexity and identifying key issues.
• Organized and dependable: if you commit to a task, it will be completed.
• Demonstrated discretion and judgment, particularly in dealing with sensitive commercial or organizational issues.
• Intellectual versatility and ability to switch contexts: capable of delving deeply into a commercial topic in the morning and reviewing a board narrative in the afternoon.
• A genuine passion for Primer's mission and the payments infrastructure sector.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
• Comfortable extracting insights from data and translating them into clear narratives -- strong skills in Spreadsheet and PowerPoint are required, along with financial modeling experience. SQL proficiency is a plus.
• Proficient in AI tools and their effective application, with a true interest in leveraging them to enhance team and functional effectiveness; experience in integrating them into existing workflows is a plus.
• Preferred: Experience in B2B SaaS or fintech.
• Familiarity with payments, PSPs, or financial infrastructure.
• Previous experience in a startup at Series B or later is desirable.
