📋 Description

• The Chief Medical Officer, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, plays a crucial role as a member of the Executive Leadership team.

• Act as the senior executive responsible for all matters related to clinical and medical affairs.

• Advocate for the needs of end-users, including clinicians, nurses, and administrative personnel.

• Propel clinical innovation, ensure patient safety, and further OP's overall business strategy.

• Work in tandem with the Executive Leadership team to align clinical initiatives with organizational objectives.

• Keep track of healthcare industry trends and offer actionable insights for competitive advantage.

• Pinpoint strategic growth opportunities on a macro level.

• Serve as a thought leader in pediatric healthcare and represent OP at various industry events.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with national pediatric organizations and influential industry figures.

• Lead and actively participate with the OP Clinical Advisory Board.


⛳️ Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

• Completion of a Pediatric Residency program.

• At least 10 years of independent clinical practice experience in pediatrics.

• Demonstrated success in a leadership capacity within a healthcare organization.

• Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and budget management.

• An entrepreneurial mindset focused on anticipating market demands and fostering profitable growth for OP.

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

• Experience in clinical research and medical innovation.

• Familiarity with healthcare technology and electronic medical records.

• In-depth understanding of clinician workflows and usability principles.

• Experience with healthcare AI technologies and clinical informatics.

• Commitment to ethical medical practices and safeguarding patient confidentiality.

• Ability to represent the organization at industry events and conferences, including public speaking opportunities.
