This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Identify, develop, and execute the business strategy for the Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance departments.
β’ Establish and agree on annual revenue, sales, profit, and operational objectives for the Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance teams.
β’ Assess and guide the organization's activities to meet targets related to trading performance, quality, culture, and regulatory compliance.
β’ Create and finalize operating procedures and business processes.
β’ Chair senior management team meetings as required.
β’ Foster and enhance the organizational culture, values, and reputation.
β’ Report to relevant stakeholders regarding business strategy planning, outcomes, and performance for the Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance department.
β’ Serve as the organization's representative in external dealings.
β’ Supervise direct reporting staff.
β’ Actively engage in staff learning and development initiatives within the organization.
β’ Monitor and ensure client satisfaction on ongoing projects related to the Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance department.
β’ Identify key accounts and cultivate strong, enduring relationships to secure new and repeat business.
β’ MD degree.
β’ Valid medical license.
β’ At least 15 years of relevant professional experience.
β’ Minimum of 10 years in drug development and/or clinical research.
β’ A minimum of 4 years in a management position.
β’ Strong understanding of GxP.
β’ Knowledge of GDPR/HIPAA, CFR/CTR/CTD, and applicable local regulatory standards.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
β’ Outgoing, representative, and client-focused.
