Chief Medical, Longevity Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of Hone’s strategy in longevity medicine, encompassing our clinical protocols, therapeutic frameworks, and standards of evidence.

• Act as the leading scientific representative for Hone’s methodologies related to hormone optimization, metabolic health, gut health, immunity, cardiac care, and other therapeutic areas focused on longevity.

• Remain at the cutting edge of longevity research and convert emerging studies into practical clinical insights and enhancements for our products.

• Supervise the development and ongoing refinement of clinical protocols in collaboration with medical practices affiliated with Hone.

• Manage the incorporation of clinical protocols into the 'Longevity Operating System,' Hone's proprietary AI technology designed to guide clinical decisions in support of patient care.

• Advocate for patient outcomes by setting clinical quality benchmarks and promoting continuous enhancements throughout the care model.

• Collaborate with Care Team leadership to ensure that patient interactions are rooted in empathy, precision, and clinical integrity.

• Recognize areas within the patient journey that present opportunities to enhance health outcomes or boost patient satisfaction.

• Participate as a member of Hone’s executive leadership team, contributing to the company’s strategy, culture, and decision-making processes.

• Act as a thought leader and spokesperson for Hone in external engagements, including media appearances, conferences, and strategic partnerships.

• Build and mentor a team of clinical and scientific advisors as the function expands.

• Exemplify Hone’s values and people-first culture in all interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD, DO, or an equivalent doctoral-level clinical degree; board certification is mandatory.

• Over 10 years of clinical experience, with substantial exposure to longevity medicine, hormone optimization, metabolic health, or a closely aligned specialty.

• Proven track record of conveying complex scientific concepts into understandable, actionable patient care or consumer-oriented content.

• Previous experience in a leadership position within a healthcare company, digital health platform, or clinical organization.

• Extensive knowledge of the regulatory and compliance landscape governing telehealth and direct-to-consumer healthcare.

• Experience in a fast-paced startup or scaling organization is preferred.

• Published research or acknowledged thought leadership in longevity medicine, functional medicine, or endocrinology is preferred.

• Knowledge of HIPAA, DEA scheduling requirements, and multi-state telehealth regulations is preferred.

• Active medical licensure across multiple US states is preferred.
