This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive marketing strategy for the Group.

• This position is remote and holds strategic responsibility for designing and implementing Sparteo's brand launch into the US market.

• Develop and execute Sparteo's brand strategy across all markets, ensuring a consistent positioning as a premium AdTech player.

• Lead decisions regarding brand architecture across the Group's various entities and products.

• Create the US brand entry strategy, focusing on positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation tailored to the North American publisher and agency ecosystem, without having a local team on day one.

• Enhance institutional visibility across all significant ecosystem mappings.

• Establish and uphold a Trust Architecture in all markets: cultivate Sparteo's reputation on review platforms as a true reflection of customer satisfaction and a signal of credibility.

• Direct the thought leadership strategy: participate in industry events, gain earned media, and enhance executive visibility on both sides of the Atlantic.

• Manage all external communications in collaboration with PR partners.

• Collaborate with Product and Sales to convert technical capabilities into compelling go-to-market narratives.

• Own the competitive intelligence framework: including positioning maps, battlecards, and win/loss analysis.

• Spearhead product launches and determine messaging for each product line according to market segment relevant to the US market.

• Align Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) definitions across Sales and Marketing by geography.

• Manage the growth strategy for the WordPress plugin.

• Design and implement a full-funnel generation strategy with specific KPIs by channel and market.

• Oversee the marketing tech stack (CRM integration, marketing automation, attribution) and its return on investment.

• Define and monitor revenue-impacting metrics: MQL to SQL conversion, customer acquisition cost (CAC), pipeline contribution, and lifetime value (LTV).

• Lead Sparteo's organic and algorithmic visibility strategy, including technical SEO and emerging search paradigms.

• Coordinate Sparteo's community presence strategy across the channels where market decisions are influenced.


⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP or higher).

• Full professional fluency in both French and English, with direct experience navigating the dynamics of both European and US markets.

• Proven success in establishing a marketing function within a scale-up environment.

• Experience managing brand strategy and performance marketing concurrently.

• Strong commercial insight: a clear understanding of pipeline, revenue cycles, and enterprise sales dynamics.

• Extensive knowledge of AdTech/programmatic, with the ability to discuss SSP, DSP, header bidding, and cookieless solutions without needing a glossary.

• Experience working in or collaborating with the US AdTech or media ecosystem (either publisher-side or platform).

• Proven ability to launch a brand in a new geographic area without having a local team.

• Familiarity with multi-entity group marketing (including holding structures and brand architecture).

• Previous experience in a product-led or engineering-led organization.

• A strategic thinker with an 'AI-native' reflex, skilled at breaking down complex business challenges into effective operational blueprints.
