Chief Financial Officer, Fractional CFO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Assume the role of fractional CFO/Controller for a select group of up to 30 clients, primarily with gross revenues under $10MM.

• Evaluate financial statements to identify trends and potential risks.

• Collaborate with bookkeepers to rectify disorganized data.

• Provide candid feedback to business owners, blending radical honesty with humor.

⛳️ Requirements

• A robust background in finance or accounting, ideally with a relevant business degree (accounting/finance focus is highly preferred).

• Practical experience in advising financially inexperienced small business owners who are under-capitalized.

• Ability to translate complex FP&A data into easily understandable terms.

• A pronounced inclination towards growth, recognizing that entrepreneurship cannot thrive solely through cost-cutting.

• Strong emotional intelligence.

• Assurance in holding clients accountable for achieving their goals.
