This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the company’s three-statement financial model, budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the board, investors, lenders, and leadership team, which include KPI dashboards and financial narratives.
• Collaborate with the fractional controller on month-end closing, GAAP-compliant financial statements, internal controls, and scalable accounting processes.
• Manage liquidity planning, cash flow, banking relationships, debt facilities, and covenant-related reporting.
• Drive finance-related initiatives focused on pricing strategy, renewal economics, customer/product unit economics, retention, and P&L enhancement.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the President & Co-Chairman and CEO & Co-Chairman regarding operating plans, pricing, margins, commercial decisions, and growth priorities.
• Assist in commercial contract reviews, vendor negotiations, and customer-facing finance tasks.
• Ensure transaction readiness and support financial diligence, valuation, and deal structuring for strategic opportunities.
• Develop, mentor, and scale finance resources over time when there is a clear business case.
• Report to the President & Co-Chairman and collaborate closely with company leadership, the board, lenders, and private equity sponsors.
• 2+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or Big 4 audit/assurance.
• 2+ years of finance experience in private equity, venture capital, or a senior finance role at a software/SaaS company.
• Hands-on finance experience in an investor-backed software environment.
• Strong understanding of software finance metrics, GAAP reporting, deferred revenue, recognized revenue versus billed cash, recurring revenue definitions, retention, and product/customer unit economics.
• Ability to manage core FP&A functions, reporting, cash management, and accounting oversight while collaborating with an existing controller and support team.
• Executive-level communication skills and financial fluency for interactions with leadership, investors, lenders, and board stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Prior CFO title is not mandatory.
• Preferred/helpful: experience in healthcare technology, payer/provider, claims pricing, contract management, or revenue cycle.
• Preferred/helpful: exposure to pricing, renewal, account management, or customer-facing finance projects.
• Preferred/helpful: experience with debt facilities, lender reporting, or covenant management.
• Preferred/helpful: experience in M&A, diligence, valuation, or transaction readiness.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred/helpful.
• Located in or have practical access to the Greater Philadelphia / Delaware area as needed.
• 0.25%–0.60% equity grant.
• 80%+ remote flexibility.
• Occasional office access.
