Chief Financial Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the annual operating plan process.

• Hold ultimate responsibility for the development and accuracy of the rolling forecast.

• Take charge of unit economics management and threshold-setting.

• Design and oversee omnichannel P&L architecture.

• Promote financial accountability within supply chain and operations.

• Supervise variance analysis against the plan and forecast across all cost centers.

• Develop and manage capital allocation decisions throughout the business.

• Own the roadmap for financial systems.

• Define and manage the company's path to achieving positive operating cash flow.

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of GAAP financial statements.

• Oversee the monthly and annual closing process through the Director of Accounting.

• Maintain the integrity of accounting policies.

• Design and sustain an internal controls environment.

• Manage the relationship with external auditors.

• Take ultimate responsibility for precise 13-week and rolling cash flow forecasting.

• Assess, structure, and manage non-dilutive financing instruments.

• Optimize working capital across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory.

• Be responsible for financial materials presented to the board of directors.

• Act as the primary management liaison to the audit committee.

• Keep the business in a constant state of transaction readiness.

• Proven track record of operational financial outcomes.
