This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy that incorporates a diverse revenue mix of philanthropic contributions and impact investments.

• Establish and maintain a pipeline of new donors and partners; define and work towards both short- and long-term objectives and key results (OKRs) for each fundraising avenue.

• Lead, expand, mentor, and nurture a team responsible for building, soliciting, and maintaining relationships with significant individual donors, institutional funders, and impact investors.

• Collaborate with the Impact Team; gain an in-depth understanding of program strategies to define achievable outcomes and metrics for grants and partnerships.

• Work in partnership with the Creative team to create a unified experience for donor engagement and loyalty.

• Ensure efficient back-office operations, including high utilization of Salesforce, tracking donor data, and reporting.

• Provide guidance and support to the CEO and other key personnel with portfolios primarily consisting of individual donors capable of making 7-figure contributions.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive team and the Board of Directors.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in blended revenue models.

• Experience in fundraising for international nonprofits engaged in systems-driven work is advantageous.

• A personal connection or professional experience with Latin American countries where New Story operates is a benefit.

• A visionary thinker who can also implement strategies effectively.

• Strong financial acumen and a thorough understanding of strategies encompassing philanthropic and impact investments.

• An effective communicator and a thoughtful relationship builder.

• A highly organized, action-oriented, and systematic individual.

• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
