This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Utilize proprietary software applications to input and label data on specified projects.

• Assist in ensuring the provision of high-quality curated data.

• Play a crucial role in supporting and contributing to the training of new tasks, collaborating closely with technical staff to facilitate the successful development and implementation of innovative initiatives and technologies.

• Work alongside technical staff to improve the design of effective annotation tools.

• Address challenges that foster innovation in chemical sciences by guiding AI models to enhance research in specialized fields, thereby improving results in scientific discovery and application.

• Select problems from various chemistry domains that resonate with your expertise in specialized subareas, including but not limited to organic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, computational chemistry, polymer chemistry, nuclear chemistry, or medicinal chemistry, where you can confidently offer detailed solutions and assess model responses.

• Consistently interpret, analyze, and execute tasks according to given guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in a chemistry-related discipline.

• Proficiency in chemistry-related subdomains, including but not limited to Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, Computational/Theoretical Chemistry, Polymer/Materials Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Catalysis, Surface/Colloid Chemistry, or Drug Discovery.

• Competence in reading and writing in both informal and formal English.

• Strong ability to navigate diverse information resources, databases, and online platforms is crucial.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Robust reading comprehension abilities coupled with the capacity to exercise independent judgment even when faced with limited data or materials.

• Deep enthusiasm for and dedication to technological advancements and innovation.
