This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• The Chemical Technician is essential in fostering customer engagement and enhancing customer retention.
• This role involves ensuring optimal customer satisfaction, addressing and resolving immediate concerns, proactively managing potential issues, and pinpointing opportunities for improvement in the customer experience.
• Deliver expert, professional solutions to all clients, enabling their businesses to thrive while ensuring their customers are pleased with a clean, shiny, dry vehicle every time they utilize our products.
• Responsible for site preventative care and troubleshooting, including titration of products as required, volumetrics for product as necessary, and minor repairs to chemical equipment and applications.
• Accountable for customer satisfaction by overseeing site chemical conversions and installations while keeping clients updated on progress. Monitor customer levels and manage chemical inventory and replenishment orders for assigned sites.
• Maintain Wash Key Reporting and Service Reports, and conduct NCS Site Surveys using the provided template.
• Support and execute corporate accounts (CTC) according to established protocols, provide on-site revenue program training, and conduct basic technical and chemistry training with relevant personnel at the location.
• Keep accurate and current computer files (SF, Portal, Google & CTM) related to customers and their concerns.
• Analyze customer outputs and suggest recommendations for technical updates or methods to enhance efficiency and increase wash counts at designated sites.
• Customer Expansion: Identify new opportunities for our accounts, initiate initial discussions, and communicate findings to sales management.
• Preferred: Associate Degree in Business Administration or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in the car wash industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude are essential.
• Strong communication skills are required to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess basic computer knowledge.
• Proven ability to deliver the highest standard of customer service and support.
• Capable of functioning with minimal oversight and thriving in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be a self-motivated individual with a strong drive to succeed.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are required.
• Willingness to support overnight travel up to 40% based on territory and customer requirements.
