This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Drive the growth and development of business in the Southern Germany sales territory by acquiring new customers while maintaining and enhancing existing relationships.
• Engage in technical sales discussions (Tech Talks) to uncover customer needs and requirements.
• Transform customer needs into qualified projects, technical application studies, and application trials.
• Establish and actively manage a CRM-supported sales pipeline.
• Enhance project-to-order conversion rates through disciplined opportunity management.
• Conduct regular customer visits and virtual meetings.
• Collaborate closely with application technology, product management, supply chain, and R&D teams.
• A successfully completed degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related natural science, or alternatively, recognized further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in paint and coating technology.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or closely related roles (such as marketing or product management) with a proven record of customer success.
• Experience in at least one of the following market segments: paints and coatings, construction chemicals, printing inks, adhesives, or the sale of specialty additives.
• Hands-on experience in marketing technical products, including training customers on proper application methods.
• A friendly and dedicated communication style, with strong negotiation skills across various hierarchical levels.
• Business fluent in English.
• A structured, self-motivated working approach with a strong orientation towards teamwork.
• Willingness to travel more than 50%, including multi-day trips and regular visits to our headquarters in Abstatt.
