This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
• Develop and grow the business in Austria and Eastern Europe by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships.
• Facilitate technical sales conversations to ascertain customer needs and showcase our CCA portfolio.
• Convert customer requirements into qualified projects, technical application studies, sample requests, and application trials.
• Construct and actively oversee a CRM-supported sales pipeline.
• Enhance project-to-order conversion rates through disciplined opportunity management.
• Conduct regular visits to customers and hold virtual meetings.
• Collaborate closely with application technology, product management, supply chain, and R&D teams.
• A university degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related natural science, or a recognized vocational qualification as a state-certified technician in paint and coating technology (m/f/d).
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or closely related roles (marketing, product management) with a proven record of customer success.
• Experience in at least one of the following sectors: paints and coatings, construction chemicals, printing inks, adhesives, or sales of specialty additives.
• Practical experience in marketing technical products, including providing customer training on proper application.
• A friendly and proactive communication style; strong negotiation skills across multiple organizational levels.
• Business-fluent English; proficiency in an Eastern European language is a plus.
• A structured, self-motivated approach to work with excellent teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
