This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Direct kitchen operations while ensuring exceptional standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
• Supervise and support a small kitchen team, cultivating a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage menu development, inventory control, and relationships with suppliers.
• Keep precise financial records, including budgeting, ordering, and stock management.
• Ensure adherence to all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with the school community to deliver a welcoming and efficient catering service.
• Responsible for implementing and promoting allergen controls.
• Prior experience as a Chef Manager or in a comparable role within contract catering, preferably in the Independent Education sector.
• Strong leadership and kitchen management capabilities.
• Enthusiastic about utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients to design balanced and attractive menus.
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, allergen management, and best practices for sustainability.
• Must demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK.
