This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation meet the highest standards.
• Manage and support a small kitchen team, promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Supervise menu development, inventory management, and supplier interactions.
• Keep precise financial records, including budgeting, ordering, and stock management.
• Ensure adherence to all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding protocols.
• Collaborate with the school community to deliver a friendly and efficient catering service.
• Responsible for implementing and advocating allergen control measures.
• Prior experience in a Chef Manager position or similar role in contract catering, preferably within the Independent Education sector.
• Strong leadership and kitchen management abilities.
• Enthusiastic about utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients to create appealing and balanced menus.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, allergen control, and best practices in sustainability.
