Chef Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Prepare, cook, and present food in accordance with Caterlink and client standards.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and company Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental regulations.

• Maintain and enhance the company's reputation for outstanding food and service.

• Oversee daily operations at the location and supervise the teams.

• Manage inventory levels, track budgets, and implement action plans effectively.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the school client.

• Suggest and execute adjustments and improvements as necessary.

• Communicate regularly with the line manager to track KPIs and financial objectives.

• Support and train team members, ensure training is completed, and manage performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience and/or capability to prepare, cook, and present food according to Caterlink and client standards.

• Adherence to Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation and procedures.

• Strong supervisory and team management skills.

• Proficiency in managing inventories, tracking budgets, and executing action plans.

• Effective communication skills with clients and line managers to monitor KPIs and financial targets.

• Ability to provide support and training to teams and manage performance effectively.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.

• Enhanced DBS disclosure is mandatory for this role.
