This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +2 more states.
• Create and implement culinary solutions that surpass customer expectations.
• Supervise and manage culinary and financial operations to comply with service, production, and presentation standards.
• Cultivate client relationships to ensure satisfaction and promote account retention.
• Oversee menu development and cost control through effective recipe management and costing measures.
• Guarantee food quality and standards throughout production, execution, and presentation phases.
• Manage catering operations efficiently.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors.
• Conduct inspections of supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure adherence to standards.
• Coordinate equipment purchases or repairs as necessary.
• Procure food and supplies while upholding quality-control practices during receiving.
• Establish production schedules and determine staffing needs as required.
• Handle payroll functions as needed.
• Uphold safety, food handling, sanitation, uniform, and productivity standards.
• Compile and document production or operational data.
• Manage controllable expenses and assist with the budgeting process.
• Analyze recipes to establish pricing for menu items based on food, labor, and overhead costs.
• Oversee inventory management.
• Submit financial reports to the corporate office.
• Recruit, hire, terminate, evaluate, and manage unit staff.
• Train and supervise cooks and other food-service personnel.
• Provide attentive and approachable customer service.
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in food service management preferred.
• ServSafe Certification is mandatory.
• Choke Safety Certification is required.
• Allergen Awareness Certification (MA) is necessary.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday during the first shift.
• Ability to manage both culinary and financial operations effectively.
• Strong customer/client focus.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and foster agility.
• Conflict management skills and ability to perform well under pressure.
• Experience in performance management: coaching and developing employees.
• Physical ability to sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, pull, and lift items weighing 40 pounds or less.
• Capability to stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and procedures.
