This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Preparing tenders, overseeing tendering processes, and assembling proposals.
• Compiling, reviewing, and approving reports and drawings to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assisting in the management and coordination of project work.
• Contributing your specialized expertise where it is not available elsewhere in the company.
• Advising clients and providing professional guidance on construction-related matters.
• Conducting Technical Due Diligence, performing detailed property surveys, evaluating structural integrity, and identifying defects.
• Communicating and collaborating with colleagues, architects, consultants, and clients.
• Engaging in business development activities as necessary to support the aforementioned tasks.
• Reporting on Building Regulations and Planning Permission Compliance.
• Preparing dilapidation reports on commercial properties, assessing building conditions, and advising on repair responsibilities and costs, particularly regarding commercial leases.
• BSc (Hons) Degree in Building Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong onsite surveying skills with prior relevant experience in commercial or residential building surveying.
• Experience negotiating settlements with tenants/landlords' surveyors on terminal Schedules of Dilapidations.
• Proven experience in business development, along with strong client-facing and presentation abilities.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Proficient in IT skills, including AutoCAD, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent technical knowledge and competence.
• Strong report writing skills and keen attention to detail.
