Chargeback Operations Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into disputed credit card, debit card, and ACH transactions, resolving disputes within the designated timeframes.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with the fraud and disputes teams to determine appropriate next steps on a case-by-case basis.

• Examine transactions using internal policies and review methodologies to identify emerging patterns and trends.

• Analyze account behaviors utilizing internal systems and tools.

• Partner with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineers to enhance loss prevention mechanisms, processes, and tools.

• Keep up-to-date with fraud prevention techniques and technologies to maintain strong domain knowledge.

• Achieve or surpass SLAs for the timely resolution of queued cases while minimizing potential losses.

• Address escalations from both internal and external stakeholders.

• Suggest process improvements to management.

• Proven experience in data analysis and making significant decisions in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Excellent business judgment and communication skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision following training.

• Demonstrated experience using Claude or similar large language model tools.

• Comfort in utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.

• Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Central Time.
