Chargeback Operations Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Investigate contested credit card, debit card, and ACH transactions, resolving disputes within designated timeframes.

• Collaborate with fraud and disputes teams to determine appropriate next steps on a case-by-case basis.

• Examine transactions by applying internal policies and assessment methods to uncover patterns and trends.

• Analyze account behaviors utilizing internal systems and tools.

• Partner with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineers to enhance loss-prevention strategies, processes, and tools.

• Maintain a robust understanding of fraud prevention techniques and technologies.

• Achieve or surpass service level agreements (SLAs) for prompt case resolution while minimizing potential losses.

• Manage escalations from both internal and external stakeholders.

• Suggest process enhancements to management.

• Proven experience in data analysis and making significant decisions in a fast-paced and occasionally ambiguous setting.

• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent business judgment and communication skills.

• Capability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision post-training.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing Claude or similar large language model tools.

• Comfortable using AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.

• Availability to work full-time from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm Central Time.
