
Chapter Strategy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
• Take full ownership of the strategic planning process for designated chapters, including the preparation of session materials, facilitation of planning discussions with volunteer boards, and the delivery of the finalized strategic plan.
• Lead planning sessions and present to senior-level financial professionals in the construction industry who are serving in volunteer leadership capacities, adeptly managing diverse leadership dynamics and personalities to foster alignment around common objectives.
• Conduct regular progress check-ins with chapter leaders to assess advancements against the plan, tackle challenges, and adjust priorities as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Chapter Engagement Program Manager to evaluate chapter health metrics, identify areas needing support, and align strategies accordingly.
• Act as a reliable partner to chapter leaders and the Chapter Resource Committee by offering guidance, responsive communication, and a shared vision.
• Represent CFMA in a prominent role through presentations, meetings, training sessions, and events.
• Work in conjunction with the Director of Chapter Engagement and national staff to further shared departmental and organizational objectives.
• Exceptional facilitation and public speaking abilities, with a proven track record of presenting to and engaging in discussions with senior-level executives.
• At least 4 years of experience in managing and leading association chapters.
• Demonstrated achievements in strategic planning, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven capability to work effectively with volunteer leaders while navigating intricate interpersonal and organizational dynamics.
• Ability to convert data, feedback, and observations into actionable and measurable plans.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and adeptness in managing multiple priorities with professionalism and responsiveness.
• Willingness and capability to travel approximately 50% within the assigned region.
