This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more state.
• Evaluate, revise, and suggest chapter policies while identifying process enhancements to improve chapter operations.
• Collaborate with Chapter Engagement Partners to facilitate the implementation and adoption of programs and services aimed at the growth and development of chapter leaders.
• Act as a resource for chapters and mentors regarding governance matters and inquiries, resolving issues or escalating them to department leadership as necessary.
• Utilize data from sources like the Chapter Reporting System to track and report overall performance for designated regions.
• Assist chapters in planning and executing relevant and engaging events.
• Implement the PMI Chapter Charter process, oversee core processes, and approve charters as deemed appropriate.
• Manage the Annual Chapter Charter Renewal program and provide regular updates on its status.
• Serve as a liaison between chapters and Customer Care to address complex issues that involve multiple departments.
• Ensure accurate volunteer information is maintained and conduct quality assurance checks, updates, and feedback with volunteers and staff.
• Provide support for volunteer role descriptions, system tools, messaging, and training initiatives.
• Review, respond to, and approve PMI Chapter by-laws submissions, ensuring compliance and legal standing in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of policy manuals, process updates, documentation, templates, and department operating procedures.
• Must reside in either Mexico or Colombia.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be taken into consideration.
• 1–3 years of experience in managing processes for geographically dispersed groups and governing documents such as bylaws and policies.
• Preferred general knowledge of association laws and practices, including Anti-Trust, UBIT Tax, and Non-Profit Classifications.
• Ability to engage with staff at all levels, global customers, volunteers within diverse committee structures, and external organizations.
• Capable of managing multiple simultaneous tasks and meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while fulfilling responsibilities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-focused setting.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in PMI’s business language: English.
• Travel up to 25%.
