Chaplain, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Acts as a messenger and representative of faith, mission, and purpose.

• Engages with companies, their employees, and the local community.

• Regularly conducts brief visits to company worksites.

• Visits employees or their immediate family members where care can be provided.

• Offers referral services and coordinates specialized assistance.

• May assist in planning, conducting, or attending funerals for employees or their immediate family members.

• Works with companies to notify families of deaths and serious injuries.

• May offer post-termination support for laid-off or terminated employees.

• May facilitate, but does not lead, spiritual enrichment activities.

• Provides literature and additional resources to help company employees with life challenges.

• Represents companies to clients and customers.

• Participates in the orientation of new employees to explain the Employee Care Service.

• Skills to listen effectively and interact with clients, employees, and their families.

• Spiritual maturity and a commitment to a Christian lifestyle, as well as MCHAP’s Ministry values.

• Proven ability to interact professionally with diplomacy, patience, and courtesy.

• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to analyze information for problem definition and follow-up on objectives.

• Proficiency in using Google Suites, Microsoft Office, or similar software.

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and meet state minimum auto insurance requirements.
