This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead internal updates and key initiatives from start to finish, collaborating with internal teams to draft communications and oversee their distribution through authorized channels.
• Take ownership of key company e-newsletters utilizing Axios HQ, which includes content planning, managing timelines, coordinating with subject matter experts, publishing, and tracking performance.
• Act as the internal authority and subject matter expert for Axios HQ, providing guidance to internal teams on effective usage, segmentation, and best practices for internal communications.
• Implement audience segmentation and targeting strategies to guarantee that communications effectively reach the appropriate groups, including newly integrated team members following merger transitions.
• Utilize analytics and feedback to assess effectiveness and suggest improvements, focusing on engagement trends across various business units and audience segments.
• Collaborate with the merger integration team to facilitate a seamless transition from merger-specific communications to standard company-wide channels, enhancing post-integration engagement.
• Compose, develop, and maintain content on the intranet, encompassing news, updates, and resource pages.
• Propel the ongoing evolution of the intranet and team member experience hub by managing timelines, tasks, and milestones associated with improvements to the intranet.
• Assist in the creation of internal presentations and materials, including the upkeep of a shared internal slide library.
• A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of seven years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, or a related position.
• Proven track record of taking ownership of internal communications programs, channels, or campaigns, with experience operating under some oversight from a senior leader.
• Familiarity with managing internal communication channels such as email platforms, intranet tools, or SharePoint environments.
• Experience with audience segmentation, channel strategy, and writing tailored for company tone and audience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while delivering high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
