CFO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish and expand the finance department: Create a robust finance organization from the ground up, encompassing financial reporting, FP&A framework, and KPI tracking to facilitate growth.

• Oversee systems integration: Take charge of the implementation and optimization of NetSuite, Salesforce, and field service tools to integrate accounting and operations data streams.

• Manage financial reporting and board communications: Supervise month-end closing processes, deliver timely and precise financial reports, and provide clear and transparent updates to the board and CEO.

• Enhance accounting practices and streamline processes: Improve invoicing efficiency, instill accountability, and mentor the accounting team to ensure consistent, high-quality performance.

• Facilitate M&A integration: Lead post-LOI acquisition integration initiatives, collaborate with integration managers, and synchronize financial and operational processes across acquired entities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven Experience as a PE-Backed CFO: Extensive background as a CFO in a private equity-backed environment, with in-depth knowledge of buy-and-build strategies, rapid growth challenges, board reporting, and investor relations.

• Hands-On Builder with Systems Proficiency: An active leader who can drive NetSuite implementation, establish FP&A from the ground up, and promote process discipline within a fragmented, multi-entity accounting structure.

• Strategic Partner & Leadership Skills: A trusted advisor to the CEO, capable of scaling the finance function, mentoring a remote team, and establishing strict accountability and reporting practices.
