Certified Pharmacy Technician – Rare Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Manage call queue, perform data entry, or engage in other pharmacy queue tasks typical for a registered pharmacy technician.

• Interpret prescriptions from healthcare providers and input details into patient profiles in compliance with state regulations.

• Collaborate with pharmacists based on work instructions, policies, procedures, management guidance, and applicable national or state regulations.

• Maintain quality assurance standards.

• Document adverse events.

• Support outreach efforts to both prescribers and patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.

• A valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license along with national certification (PTCB or NHA) is essential.

• Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.

• Basic math and computer competencies, including navigation of Windows, Microsoft applications, internet, and email, are required.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are crucial.

• Capability to adapt to and learn internal systems, processes, and programs as needed.

• Residency in Tennessee is a must.

• Access to cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed is required for remote work.
