CEO and Co-Founder – Ambient AI for Infection Prevention

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design partnership by engaging with clinical, IT, legal, and procurement stakeholders to establish, deploy, and validate the MVP in pilot ICU units, ultimately transitioning the design partner relationship into a commercial agreement.

• Identify and collaborate with a technical co-founder skilled in computer vision, ambient AI, and healthcare platform engineering to develop and enhance the product.

• Formulate and implement a go-to-market strategy aimed at academic medical centers and major regional health systems, creating a pipeline that extends beyond the initial design partner to facilitate a Seed fundraise within 18-24 months.

• Oversee the operational budget and manage burn rate and runway, ensuring alignment of available resources with essential business milestones.

• Devise and execute a fundraising strategy to attract interest from external venture investors during the Seed stage and beyond.

• Develop a comprehensive organizational hiring plan and recruit, retain, and nurture world-class talent accordingly.

• Support the technical co-founder in defining, assessing, and evolving the product roadmap by translating customer insights into product priorities.

• Establish a framework for fostering relationships across hospital systems, particularly with CNOs, Quality Officers, and Infection Prevention leadership, including channel partners that can expand StealthCo’s reach.

• Provide updates on strategic goals to the Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders.

• Cultivate a company culture with defined values that attracts exceptional talent and fosters a strong, trust-based relationship with the founding team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Direct experience in founding, leading, or managing a company that utilized ambient video feeds and computer vision AI to derive clinical or operational insights in a healthcare or enterprise setting.

• Demonstrated success in selling enterprise software or AI solutions to large health systems or academic medical centers at the CNO, CMIO, or VP level, with firsthand experience navigating multi-stakeholder procurement, pilot-to-scale transitions, and committee approval processes.

• Founding experience at a venture-backed company or holding a significant commercial leadership role (VP or higher) at an early-stage venture-backed health technology firm with a proven revenue impact.

• Technical proficiency adequate to assess computer vision and healthcare AI talent, make informed product and architecture decisions, and engage in meaningful discussions with hospital IT and clinical informatics leadership.

• **Strong Differentiators**

• Established relationships with CNOs, Quality Officers, or Infection Prevention leadership at academic medical centers or large regional health systems.

• Experience with FDA regulatory pathways for AI/ML-based clinical decision support, including strategies for Licensed Practitioner Exemption (LPE) and 510(k) clearance pathways.

• Domain expertise in patient safety, prevention of hospital-acquired conditions, fall detection, pressure injury prevention, sepsis detection, or related inpatient clinical AI applications.

• Previous exit, acquisition, or IPO experience with a venture-backed company.

• Active engagement with health system innovation communities such as CHIME, HIMSS, APIC, or SHEA.
