This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Accountable for generating additional revenue across Hyatt Studios and Hyatt Select hotels by strategically overseeing Group and Transient sales opportunities throughout the complete sales lifecycle.
• Acts as an extension of the sales team for each hotel.
• Requires a comprehensive understanding of the mid-scale segment, including its clientele, market trends, and revenue potential.
• Manages a dynamic pipeline of opportunities by qualifying leads, fostering client relationships, crafting persuasive proposals, negotiating and contracting business, and guiding opportunities from inquiry to conversion.
• Ensures prompt, strategic follow-up that maximizes conversion rates, supports hotel-specific sales objectives, and yields measurable revenue outcomes.
• Exhibits expertise in managing Group and Transient sales funnels.
• Thrives in handling a high-volume pipeline while consistently providing an outstanding customer experience.
• Previous experience with Hyatt Select Service and/or upper-midscale is mandatory.
• A genuine enthusiasm for meeting the needs of others in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and presentation abilities.
• Must be capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must possess an outgoing personality and be a proven self-starter.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar field is preferred.
• Proficiency in general computer skills, Envision, Lanyon Opera, and Cvent is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
