CDL Class A Tour Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Inspire and engage high school students about careers in skilled trades.

• Travel throughout Alabama, generally from Monday to Friday.

• Operate the event Tractor/Trailer to transport to each event or school site.

• Manage the execution of the day's event and prepare for the following day's activities.

• Ensure that the event trailer and all interactive exhibits and simulators are clean, safe, functional, and ready for events.

• Assist in conveying the Be Pro Be Proud message to all participating students during events.

• Dismantle the trailer and pack up exhibits each day.

• Collaborate with the designated contact at each school or event location to ensure effective planning of the day's events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Alabama and currently live within the state.

• A valid Class A CDL driver's license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT Medical Certificate is mandatory.

• Preferred 2 years of Class A driving experience with 53' trailers.

• Must have a clean criminal background and motor vehicle record.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• A passion for working with high school-aged students is required.

• Must be comfortable with limited public speaking in front of small groups.

• Experience in relocating and setting up custom expandable event trailers is strongly preferred.

• Proficient computer skills – Ability to utilize a tablet computer (Android-based), email, MS Suite, various web-based applications, ELDs, etc.
