This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborating with the business to source and acquire a diverse array of necessary goods and services, primarily focusing on IT and Indirect services, while ensuring maximum value for money in accordance with established service and quality standards.
• Ensuring adherence to internal procurement processes to solicit and assess competitive tenders and proposals for the provision of goods and services, which includes negotiating with suppliers on all commercial and contractual matters to achieve the best balance of value against risk.
• Spotting opportunities for synergies within the group portfolio and implementing enhancements to the “bottom line” through cost savings or process modifications, while fostering continuous improvement throughout the Procurement function.
• Managing supplier relationships and coordinating multiple stakeholder interactions across the group to ensure a unified and cooperative approach.
• Identifying and executing supplier improvement initiatives, operating 360-degree feedback mechanisms, and addressing contractual and supplier disputes as they arise.
• Understanding and complying with the company and departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
• Building and nurturing strong, positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are understood and met, while advocating for the Procurement function as a positive enabler and essential partner to the group.
• Operating and maintaining necessary systems to support and enhance the Procurement function.
• Collaborating closely with HSEQ teams to guarantee that the supply chain is safe and delivers high-quality goods and services.
• Undertaking other procurement and supply chain tasks as required from time to time.
• Proven experience in IT / Indirect procurement, with the passion and capability to coach and upskill colleagues in category management principles, ensuring effective knowledge transfer within the team.
• Demonstrated experience in managing the entire procurement lifecycle, ensuring that any value generated during the negotiation phase is realized through contract fulfillment.
• Familiarity with key contractual terms.
• Experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing a range of complex contracts and commercial risks.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline - *desirable*.
• At least CIPS level 4 completed, with progress towards level 6 - *desirable*.
