This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
• Develop the mid-term strategy for category growth, which encompasses targets, assortment priorities, and specific growth opportunities within the category.
• Identify and bridge assortment gaps spanning subcategories, brands, and top-selling products in collaboration with business developers and account managers.
• Evaluate category performance, stock levels, and overall attractiveness; initiate sourcing and commercial actions to enhance performance.
• Prioritize projects aimed at enhancing the on-site category experience, product presentation, and customer journey in conjunction with the Product team.
• Leverage competitor insights and customer data to inform improvements in the category experience.
• Streamline processes to concentrate more on insights and actionable recommendations.
• Serve as the category expert and primary contact for internal teams.
• Report directly to the Category Management Team Lead.
• Collaborate effectively with Supply, Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a category management or commercial analytics position within a fast-paced e-commerce or marketplace environment.
• Highly analytical and organized, capable of transforming data into clear insights and prioritized actions.
• Strong commercial understanding and insight into marketplace supply and demand dynamics.
• Proven experience in project management and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Possess a growth mindset; persistent, proactive, and an adept problem solver.
• Advocate for AI, utilizing the latest tools and technologies to work more efficiently.
• Experience in Consumer Electronics or the Secondary Market is a plus.
• Proficiency in data manipulation beyond dashboards, such as Python and/or SQL, is a plus.
