This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leverage syndicated data, account-specific information, and consumer and shopper insights to guide our sales team within various categories.
• Execute essential consumer and shopper research, including identifying business issues and formulating key questions.
• Tackle intricate business challenges by utilizing a variety of data sources and analytical tools.
• Provide continuous trend analysis regarding business performance and its drivers to identify value-creating opportunities and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Create and present tailored customer presentations incorporating relevant consumer insights, competitive analysis, and recommendations for top-to-top meetings, quarterly business reviews, and category assessments with designated customers.
• Contribute insights into the customer planning process based on an understanding of category trends, shopper behaviors, and competitive factors.
• Deliver analyses on the introduction of new items and their performance evaluations.
• Develop analyses to underscore the effectiveness of merchandising, including display and promotional strategies.
• Maintain regular internal and retailer-specific scorecards and tracking systems.
• Collaborate and engage with senior sales and marketing management colleagues.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Category Management or Analyst role.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
• Over 3 years of experience with Spins/Nielsen/Circana data, along with experience in Consumer/Shopper Panel data; familiarity with Shopper Loyalty card data; knowledge of Stratum (84.51), Retail Link, and Partners Online is preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with the capability to effectively integrate diverse streams of information into coherent propositions.
• Understanding of tools and techniques for merchandising and marketing in retail environments.
• Additional analytical skills and proficiencies (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Access, Power BI, ProSpace, SQL, VBA, Alteryx) are advantageous.
• Ability to build strong networks and collaborative relationships by effectively influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
• Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
