This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Primarily responsible for managing and investigating high exposure third-party property damage and bodily injury claims across multiple states.
• Work efficiently and effectively with insured individuals, claimants, attorneys, and external vendors to verify coverage, establish liability, and assess damages through prompt and thorough claim investigations.
• Candidates should possess multi-state licenses; at a minimum, the applicant must hold a valid Texas license and be able to swiftly obtain reciprocal licenses in other states.
• Requires a high degree of personal motivation and self-discipline, as well as the capacity to operate independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Analyze and apply coverage to both routine and complex claims.
• Adjudicate claims promptly and professionally.
• Set and maintain diaries.
• Complete client reporting in a timely manner.
• Control loss adjustment expenses and recommend as well as manage reserves.
• Document all correspondence, reports, discussions, and decisions within the claims system.
• Notify management of any circumstances that may impact the underlying claim.
• Preferably have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial transportation.
• Excellent report writing capabilities.
• Strong time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must hold a valid Texas all lines license (additional licenses such as Florida and New Mexico are a plus).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Above-average computer skills are essential.
• Must be a team player.
• Litigation experience is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
