This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Act as a liaison between Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers.
• Conduct investigations of assigned claims, whether in the field or from the office.
• Gather all essential evidence and pertinent documentation.
• Create Preliminary Reports that outline the available evidence and provide commentary on
• Policy Indemnity, Legal Liability, Quantum, and Tactics.
• Identify the appropriate actions needed to resolve the case.
• Defend or negotiate settlements as appropriate, adhering to established authority limits.
• Professionally correspond with all parties to proactively advance the case toward resolution.
• Investigate and manage all cases according to client requirements by consistently following documented procedures.
• Regularly review to maintain an adequate reserve at all times.
• Stay informed of any technical updates relevant to your role, including participation in company-facilitated training programs.
• All staff members are expected to execute any reasonable instructions provided by their line manager, in alignment with business needs.
• Previous experience as a Loss Adjuster.
• Background in investigating and managing Casualty Claims.
• Understanding of the insurance industry and market.
• Familiarity with legal principles, regulations, Acts, and similar matters.
• Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
• Strong communication skills across all levels.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to take charge of your own workload.
• Must demonstrate adaptability and flexibility.
• Proficient IT skills.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
