Casualty Desk Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Manages intricate and technically demanding claims

• Conducts investigations and assesses coverage, liability, and damages

• Guarantees prompt referral of lawsuits to legal counsel

• Develops effective strategies to resolve claims

• Reviews coverage and prepares coverage correspondence

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in personal lines claims

• Preferred insurance designations such as CPCU, AIC, ARM

• Strong understanding of tort theories, legal principles, negotiation tactics, and litigation management
