Cash Application Specialist, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Efficiently process and allocate a high volume of incoming customer payments with accuracy and speed.

• Conduct daily reconciliations of cash and bank accounts, process remittances, and ensure that customer account balances are accurately maintained.

• Actively investigate unapplied cash, resolve payment discrepancies, and clear outstanding items.

• Work closely with the Collections, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury teams to address complex customer inquiries.

• Provide essential reconciliations and reports to facilitate timely and accurate month-end closing operations.

• Consistently achieve or surpass established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to processing time and accuracy.

• Proactively identify bottlenecks and recommend opportunities for streamlining Cash Application workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in a dedicated Cash Application or Cash Allocation position.

• Practical experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong background in bank reconciliations, remittance processing, and payment investigations.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

• Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish.

• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Prior experience with cash application automation software, preferably Esker.

• Experience within a multinational corporate environment or a Global Shared Services (GBS) context is preferred.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks and process optimization initiatives is preferred.
