Cash Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Execute daily cash application research and assist in managing cash inflow activities.

• Carry out investigations on payment inquiry requests from other departments, examining supporting documents and determining necessary next steps.

• Analyze aged and complex items on the unapplied cash dashboard, concentrating on older payments that require thorough review and resolution.

• Aid in resolving unapplied, misapplied, or unidentified payments utilizing various internal systems and tools.

• Keep precise records of findings, updates, and resolution actions related to payment inquiries.

• Oversee and disseminate email communications concerning cash application and payment research.

• Employ a cash application dashboard daily to monitor, prioritize, and address open items.

• Work closely with the Cash Application team to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of inquiries.

• Exhibit strong time management, follow-up, and responsiveness to fulfill service-level expectations in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous office or administrative experience in a finance, accounting, or operations setting is preferred.

• High proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

• Advanced Excel skills along with the ability to work with data, dashboards, and multiple systems.

• Quick to learn and adept at navigating new tools and processes efficiently.

• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and organization.

• Excellent written communication abilities and professional email etiquette.
