Cash Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily research for cash application and support activities related to cash inflow management.

• Investigate payment inquiry requests from other departments, assessing the supporting documentation and determining necessary next steps.

• Analyze aged and complex items within the unapplied cash dashboard, paying special attention to older payments that require thorough review and resolution.

• Aid in resolving unapplied, misapplied, or unidentified payments using various internal systems and tools.

• Keep precise documentation of findings, updates, and actions taken to resolve payment inquiries.

• Oversee and distribute email communications pertaining to cash application and payment research.

• Daily utilize a cash application dashboard to monitor, prioritize, and address open items.

• Work closely with the Cash Application team to ensure inquiries are resolved accurately and in a timely manner.

• Exhibit strong time management, follow-up, and responsiveness to meet service-level expectations in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous office or administrative experience in a finance, accounting, or operations setting is preferred.

• Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

• Strong skill set in Excel and comfort with handling data, dashboards, and various systems.

• Quick to learn and capable of efficiently navigating new tools and processes.

• Detail-oriented with a significant emphasis on accuracy and organization.

• Excellent written communication skills and professional email etiquette.
