This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Management of designated projects and/or cases.
• Compliance with overall company procedures.
• Telephone support: Implementation of call-center initiatives, providing support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding organizations.
• Current assistance lines concentrate on funding and access challenges, including private, public, and special access programs as well as compliance initiatives.
• Administer and follow case-management guidelines, encompassing clinical monitoring, data collection, ongoing patient follow-up, compliance, therapy disruption/discontinuation monitoring, adverse event reporting, and coordination with primary healthcare providers.
• Execute pharmaceutical and biotechnology-related market research initiatives involving physicians, patients, pharmacists, or other allied health professionals.
• All patient programs are structured around casework methods and entail a considerable volume of outbound calls.
• Document every action in the program-specific database.
• Engage in ongoing refresher training and specialized training sessions for particular products or programs as recommended by the manager.
• Provide insights regarding existing protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental relations.
• Ensure clear communication with the manager, pod, and program-trained colleagues about case management during anticipated absences.
• Collaborate with managers in training new caseworkers, which includes activities such as shadowing and call monitoring.
• Responsible for reporting all Adverse Events to designated units/departments.
• The Caseworker will also undertake additional duties and tasks as needed from time to time.
• Requires extensive training in areas such as business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar fields, typically acquired through the completion of a two-year associate's degree program or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service.
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors is an advantage.
