This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Assess liability consistently from the early stages, highlighting key risk factors and providing the team with structured, insightful case evaluations.
• Ensure clients remain engaged in their treatment by guiding subsequent steps, addressing obstacles, and maintaining steady progress through medical care.
• Communicate confidently and professionally with clients, fostering trust while keeping expectations clear and realistic.
• Take ownership of case progression from initial intake to resolution, ensuring all files are active and follow-ups are conducted promptly.
• Collaborate with medical providers, vendors, and insurance representatives to avoid delays, ensuring records, bills, and updates are efficiently managed.
• Keep thorough case documentation, notes, and task tracking so that files are always ready for audits and easily accessible.
• Assist with insurance processes including follow-ups on claims, checking statuses, and coordinating documentation.
• Lead the coordination of medical records and billing, handling requests, ensuring follow-through, and organizing for straightforward case utilization.
• Proactively identify and address any gaps, such as treatment, documentation, or liability clarity, before they are raised by others.
• Significant experience as a pre-litigation case manager in the personal injury field.
• Strong judgment regarding liability and critical thinking skills (you can recognize issues, ask pertinent questions, and clarify the file).
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases at once without sacrificing attention to detail or missing deadlines.
• Professional communication skills suitable for client interactions (you can educate clients, not just provide updates).
• High level of organization and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in documentation, follow-ups, and managing case tasks.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting while effectively managing the case file.
• Experience in preparing or assisting with demand packages, case summaries, or treatment narratives.
• Familiarity with personal injury case management systems (e.g., SmartAdvocate, CasePeer, Litify, Needles).
• Proficient in medical terminology and confident in coordinating records and billing processes on a large scale.
