Case Manager II, Global Visa Practice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Manage clients’ immigration cases from start to finish under the guidance of attorneys and managers, including the formulation of case strategy.

• Supervise the efforts of local advisors to ensure all necessary actions are undertaken throughout each case.

• Independently conduct client calls concerning business visa cases and work permits, including local advisors on the call.

• Keep precise records and timely update internal databases consistently.

• Comply with current WR and specific client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Actively oversee clients’ global mobility programs, providing strategic advice to ensure seamless operations.

• Play a vital role in client onboarding, ensuring clients have access to the appropriate range of standard WRapid reports and submitting requests for custom reports to management or IT as necessary.

• Prepare presentations for clients for review and delivery by attorneys or managers.

• Acquire knowledge and apply WR-specific case workflows as outlined by Global practice leadership.

• Develop a deep understanding of global mobility requirements for the countries where the firm’s clients travel.

• Use existing organizational tools and engage in creating new tools and processes to effectively manage a high volume of cases simultaneously.

• Act as a subject matter expert for 3 to 5 countries, assisting in training junior team members and serving as a case mentor.

• Review drafts related to business visa and other straightforward cases from junior team members as assigned by the manager or attorney.

• Bachelor’s degree with a commendable academic record.

• 2-5 years of experience in global mobility or international immigration.

• Exceptional organization and time management abilities.

• Impeccable attention to detail.

• Capability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Clear and effective communication skills, particularly in a professional email context.
