Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Comprehend and comply with the National EMR Policies and Procedures Manual, Uniform Handbook, and Operations Manual.

• Cultivate an environment that motivates team members to prioritize safety, recognize potential hazards, and promptly report safety issues.

• Maintain an active presence on the agency’s platforms, including learning management systems.

• Evaluate disaster-related unmet needs and create personalized service plans for disaster recovery.

• Oversee all referrals, service planning, and client documentation for the assigned caseload.

• Engage in weekly case staffing sessions with the Group Supervisor during deployments.

• Complete all necessary ICS, LMS-based, and other required Disaster Case Management Program training promptly.

• Participate in workshops, seminars, educational programs, and other activities that foster professional growth and development.

• Notify the immediate supervisor and cadre manager of any circumstances that may lead to a prolonged suspension of availability.

• Address inquiries, requests for assistance, and provide direction as needed.

• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and other service providers.

• Carry out Needs Assessments as required.

• Manage a full caseload, continually updating individualized plans as survivors progress in their recovery.

• Regularly evaluate ongoing changes in behavior, circumstances, or conditions that could impact survivor safety and needs.

• Keep precise records, files, forms, statistics, and any other relevant information in alignment with agency policy.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, or Social Services is highly preferred.

• At least two (2) years of progressive employment experience in the fields of Behavioral Science, Human Services, or Social Services.

• Previous experience in child welfare, emergency disaster response, and/or recovery settings is essential.

• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are preferred.

• A professional license in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, or Social Services is strongly preferred.
