Cargo Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Conduct sampling, measurements, and inventory of tanks/ships on shore.

• Communicate and coordinate with terminal staff, transportation personnel, and the client company to ensure the proper execution of assigned tasks.

• Monitor the availability of necessary supplies for the processes mentioned above and inform coordinators of any supply needs.

• Perform routine calibration of equipment, as well as verification and functional checks.

• Organize and coordinate tasks to ensure that services are delivered and that reports and samples are presented correctly, completely, and in a timely manner.

• Verify and communicate the results obtained and make records in the appropriate formats, both paper and electronic, necessary to ensure the validity and traceability of information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical diploma (nautical, chemical, or equivalent).

• Previous experience as a Cargo Surveyor in the petrochemical field (or similar).

• Residency in Genoa (or nearby areas).

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Availability for shift work, with irregular hours and on-call duties.

• Valid driver's license.
