This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Ensure preparedness in a dynamic contact center environment to assist military spouses.
• Handle initial calls from military spouses through a live handoff utilizing call center technology.
• Manage incoming live chats from military spouses.
• Evaluate the needs of military spouses and offer tailored Government-approved resources.
• Deliver education and career guidance, which includes: recommending online and distance education and training opportunities; informing military spouses about available financial assistance resources to aid in decision-making; and helping spouses comprehend Federal, state, and local occupational licensing.
• Provide credentialing details for specific career fields.
• Arrange career coaching sessions.
• Assist spouses in troubleshooting website access related to SpouseWorks programs.
• Support the administration of a Department of Defense military spouse scholarship program.
• Maintain the government-provided case management system, spouse profiles, and scholarship accounts.
• Bachelor's degree AND a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in offering high-quality, in-depth educational, career, or employment advising or coaching to diverse adult populations.
• Three (3) years of experience in training development and delivery, public speaking, group presentation, and facilitation skills, preferably in adult education, medical, or non-medical settings.
• Two (2) years of experience supervising or overseeing the provision of social services and/or educational programs, systems, and services.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to access to U.S. Government systems.
• Home internet service with upload and download speeds exceeding 3Mb.
• Strong technological and research skills.
• Capability to navigate multiple computer systems concurrently.
• Positive and approachable demeanor combined with excellent communication skills.
• Active listening skills to understand client needs and provide appropriate support and resources.
• Availability to accommodate a full-time training schedule for the first 6-8 weeks of employment if selected for the position.
• A home office setup is required.
