Care Technician, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee incoming and outgoing calls while delivering exceptional customer service through effective communication.

• Handle 50-70 incoming calls during an 8-hour shift.

• Manage the processing of new and refill prescription orders.

• Contact veterinarians via fax or phone for refill requests.

• Review voicemail messages and return calls to customers.

• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure high-quality customer service.

• Update patients on the tracking status of their orders.

• Verify and check invoices/charges for accuracy.

• Organize and file orders in the correct folders through scanning.

• Interpret and comprehend prescription orders.

• Navigate various internal computer systems efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• You must possess a Pharmacy Technician certification in the state of TEXAS.

• You have prior experience in data processing, fulfillment, or retail roles; veterinary experience is advantageous.

• You maintain a customer-oriented mindset, especially focusing on pets.

• You excel in a fast-paced work setting.

• You can remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods.

• You are capable of lifting boxes containing medications weighing up to 25lbs.

• You possess excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, and work well in a team environment.

• You have a proactive attitude and can maintain composure while performing under pressure.

• You are willing to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.

• You consistently aim to impress clients and patients.

• You demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• You are resourceful and resilient.

• You are open to taking on various responsibilities and assisting the team as needed.

• You are available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
