Care Management Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitates the comprehensive coordination of medical services, which includes conducting member outreach efforts.

• Aids in service authorizations and the distribution of member mailings.

• Gathers, investigates, and inputs member information as necessary.

• Organizes and coordinates health care service delivery under the guidance of the nurse or medical director.

• Fosters communication to improve the effectiveness of medical management services.

• Conducts non-medical research relevant to the initiation, upkeep, and closure of ongoing cases.

• Offers support services to team members by managing phone calls, taking messages, and gathering information.

• Ensures accurate and thorough documentation of required information.

• Safeguards the confidentiality of member information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, telemarketing, and/or sales.

• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.

• Prior experience with Managed Care Organizations (MCO).

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
